How to Play

As Valerie Porter, you’ll begin the adventure immediately searching for clues that will assist you with your investigation into the murder of Scarlet Velour. As you investigate each scene, you will play various mini games that will earn you points and lead you to both evidence and people of interest. You’ll also interview witnesses and possible suspects as you use each game screen to gather all of the information necessary to solve the crime and write your story. Along the way, you’ll have to persuade different people to give you tips, secret information or access to areas that you shouldn’t be allowed into. Each chapter offers
mini games that allow you to wrack up points and get you closer to solving the crime and getting the biggest scoop of the year!

Tips & Tricks

• If you’re not sure what the object you are looking for looks like, click the word on the list and a silhouette of the object will appear in the magnifying glass
• Players can string together items found to earn extra points. A bonus is awarded at the end of the chapter for the highest combo strung together
• If you get stuck and can’t find an object, click on the light bulb to reveal its location. You can only do this so many times in each scene as the light bulb takes time to recharge

How to Play

The object of the game is to go beyond nding objects in a scene and actually use the items you nd to ID the right suspects and solve the case! Start by searching each scene for clues using the naked eye and the forensic tools provided as part of your detective kit. Then narrow down the suspects by playing one of a series of mini-games that are unique to each case. Finally you will ID the culprit by solving a puzzle based on the clues you found to gure out whodunit and move on to
the next big case!

Tips & Tricks

• Use the forensics tools from your detective kit to help you find hidden evidence
• In the assembly search screens, once you complete an object you can then use that object to uncover additional clues and items in the same screen
• Make sure you listen to all of Bernie’s theories when trying to ID the culprit for each case

"Pearl Harbor is a really fantastic game. It has amazingly beautiful photo realistic images, art and backgrounds. The music is very soothing and makes you think of a tropical paradise The game is based on military missions in which you have to locate all the objects on your list in order to accomplish your mission. There is always one object that needs to be found that is a crucial part of the mission and is important to the ongoing storyline. Most scenes are underwater and likely you are searching a shipwreck to locate the hidden objects. There is a mini game at the end of each mission. Clicking on a wrong object results in a time deduction.Some of the underwater scenes are a bit dark. I loved this game and have to say that it is the most difficult and challenging hidden object games I have played."

"This game puts a slightly different spin on the HOG concept.The goal is to "fly" all over Europe looking for these hidden relics. In each scene's location there is a gas can that must be found in order to keep the plane fueled and flying.The game has a good storyline which flows with the game. I really liked the "unlock the gadgets" mini games where you have to complete a game that is multi leveled in order to obtain a gadget to assist you in your search for the relics. The number of these games increases as you strive to unlock another gadget.There is a very interesting book that will explain what each of the relics found in that scene are. The storyline and the graphics are great. This was a semi difficult game. The hardest part was the mini games which you need to play as some of the gadgets are the only way to find some of the "special" hidden objects. This one took me some time to finish but overall I liked the game."

"Amazing! Beautifully executed hidden object game! I am definitely buying this game! I played the trial, and oh my gosh, the scenery is so unique in this game! I really enjoyed finding the hidden objects but unlike similar games, this one has the extra twist of competing against "other teams" to race towards the summit of Everest. The addition of real footage by expert climber/explorer Ed Viesturs is also an interesting extra touch that just shows how much time and thought was put into this particular game."
